Kenya Veterinary Board has planned for awareness workshops for veterinary surgeons and veterinary paraprofessionals in the country as illustrated on the attached program. KVB REGIONAL WORKSHOP PROGRAM
This is to inform and invite our members(Veterinarians) and veterinary paraprofessionals to attend the workshops as planned. Further communications on areas with no definite venues will be done later.
Please note that veterinary paraprofessionals only include those with BSc, Diploma and 2 year Certificate in Animal Health.

The Kenya Veterinary Association (KVA) is a registered membership organization that acts as a watchdog for the veterinary profession to ensure proper management of veterinary issues that impact on the welfare of the veterinarians with an overall aim of enhancing animal welfare. The association is involved in advocacy issues and leadership of the animal resource industry. More specifically, the Association is responsible for furthering the advancement of veterinary science and practice in collaboration with other stakeholders.
The Brooke EA awarded KVA a grant to implement a donkey welfare project in Kajiado County (2013-2014). KVA is looking for suitable persons to fill the positions of a Project Officer (PO) and a Community Development Officer for the project.
